Parallel Parlour Milking Systems
High capacity DeLaval parallel parlours are designed for optimal operator and cow comfort.
DeLaval parallel stalls provide quick and accurate cow positioning and since the milker has access to the udder between the cow's hind legs, these stalls are also very safe to work in.
Each cow's position includes a sequencing gate to help ensure they enter the parlour in an orderly manner and don’t miss their stalls.
Our ergonomically designed systems position cows at 90 degrees to the operator pit and provide the shortest distance between milking points. Milking is conducted directly from behind the cow's hind legs thereby providing safe and easy access to the udder.

The herringbone milking parlour is one of the most labour effective batch milking parlours available today. It offers high throughput and efficient labour usage by promoting calm, harmonious cow traffic. Milkers can work without stress and spend minimal time assisting the cows in this fully integrated parlour. The system actually supports shorter milking sessions meaning cows spend more time eating, drinking and resting to achieve higher milk production.

Swing-over – high throughput, low investment
A DeLaval MidiLine™ parlour is the ultimate low input, high throughput, batch milking system that helps you make use of your time and resources efficiently.
With clusters positioned in the middle of the pit, they servce both sides of the parlour. Compared to systems with one milking unit per stall, this is a more cluster-efficient investment.
DeLaval ML2100 provides a basic level of functionality without automation, but can be upgraded with various automation modules. It is therefore suitable when the level of initial investment needs to be kept low, while providing the flexibility to upgrade.
DeLaval ML3100 offers integrated automation right from the start. The sleek and ultramodern swing-over arm provides automatic take-off and Comfort-Start. Linked to advanced milk flow management, DeLaval ML3100 is a highly efficient, easy-to use milking parlour.
